Cerovec is a small settlement in the Dolenjske Toplice municipality in Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and belongs to the Toplice parish. It is a medieval building that was extensiveley renovated and restyled in the Baroque in the 17th century.[3]
