History
Engineer was born on March 6, 2001 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She was discovered as an actress by her neighbour, an agent, who saw her communicating in sign language with her deaf mother. The neighbour introduced her to casting directors for the film Orphan, who were looking for a young girl fluent in sign language for the part of Max, and Aryana was cast in the role.[2][3]
