Event information
The event historically consisted of a 5k run, a tree wish, and a sapling, which participants could take home and plant.[1]
2010 Event
The 2010 Tree-Athlon was held in London on 18 September in Battersea Park.
Guinness World Record attempt
An attempt to stage the world's largest barefoot run was successful, with 278 participants running 100m.[2]
2011 Event
The 2011 event will also be held in London, in Battersea Park on the 17th September. An attempt will be made to regain the Guinness World Record.[3]
