Arnulfo G. Ventura, Jr Arnulfo Gomez Ventura, Jr. is a leading entrepreneur and innovator in the beverage industry. While pursuing his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Arnulfo co-founded Bonadea, a beverage company featuring the first ready-to-drink authentic aguas frescas sweetened with organic agave.
Arnulfo started Bonadea with the purpose of making all-natural, authentic aguas frescas accessible to consumers while providing them with a better-for-you beverage alternative. Arnulfo lost his grandfather to diabetes and grew up with a health conscious perspective to Mexican cuisine. In avoiding artificial ingredients and through the use of organic agave in Bonadea’s aguas, Arnulfo is raising awareness around the diabetes epidemic plaguing the Latino community and providing a tasty, healthier alternative to carbonated soft drinks.
Since the company’s inception, Bonadea can now be found in hundreds of food service establishments and stores throughout California, including Whole Foods Market. BevNET, a leading critic in the beverage industry, gave Bonadea’s aguas 4 ½ out of 5 stars.
Arnulfo has been featured in numerous media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money publication, and Hispanic Executive Magazine featured Arnulfo as a leader in the Food & Beverage industry. Arnulfo is a frequent speaker on Latino entrepreneurship and innovation in the consumer product goods space.
The first member of his family to graduate from college, Arnulfo also serves on the boards of educational non-profit organizations dedicated to closing the educational gap from high school to college. Prior, Arnulfo worked as a private wealth advisor at Merrill Lynch and received his B.A. in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.
