Yangxin County, Hubei

Yangxin County ( _zh. 阳新县) is a county within the prefecture-level city of Huangshi in China's Hubei province. It occupies the southern half of the Huangshi "prefecture-level city", bordering on the Jiangxi Province in the south, and with the Tongshan County of the Xianning prefecture-level city in the west. The Yangtze River flows along the county's eastern border.

The southern part of the county is hilly; it is part of the Mufu Mountains.

The main transportation artery of the county is currently the China National Highway 106, which, within this county, is also counted as the China National Highway 316. A railway from Wuhan to Jiujiang, Jiangxi, runs through the Yangxin town as well.

The county is mostly rural, but more prosperous than its neighbor, Tongshan County.
