Sergio Messina (
September 18 ,1959 ) is an Italianmusician , radio maker,writer ,teacher and tech critic.In
1989 his no copyright, self distributed song Radiogladio got him international attention. Subsequently he produced "Curre curre guaglio"',99 Posse 's debut album, and then his own "La Vendetta del Mulino Bianco". As a remixer he's worked with many italian musicians, including Avion Travel, Casino Royale andElio e le Storie Tese . HisRadio art works have been produced and broadcasted by many stations worldwide since the late 80es, including the ItalianRAI and the AustrianORF . Since 1996 Messina has a page on the underground music magazine Rumore, and since 2003 he's a regular contributor and columnist for the Italian edition ofRolling Stone magazine, where he has a monthly column on alternative sexualities. He coordinates theSound Design course at Istituto Europeo di Design inMilano , where he also teaches History ofPop Culture . Since 2000 he's researching onRealcore (his own term), digital amateur pornography freely distributed online; he presents this research in a live show entitled Realcore: the digital porno revolution.Mark Dery wrote in 2006: "Messina, 47, is theMargaret Mead of alt sex on the Internet."References:
