Infante John of Viseu (in Portuguese "João") (c.1448-1472) was the older son ofInfante Fernando, Duke of Viseu and of his wifeInfanta Beatrice of Portugal.In
1470 , following his father's death, he inherited the titles of 3rdDuke of Viseu and 2ndDuke of Beja , as well as the Lordships ofCovilhã andMoura He also become Master of the
Order of Christ and of theOrder of Santiago , becoming also 7thConstable of Portugal .In July
1472 , his uncle, King Alphonse V granted him the Morrocan city ofAnfa (in Portuguese "Anafé").He died young and single, withount issue. His brother, Infante Diogo, inherited his titles and estates.
