Calloway County School District

The Calloway County School District is located in Calloway County, Kentucky, United States.It is the largest district in the county, enrolling over 3000 students from around the county. Calloway County High School is the most rapidly growing school in the county. As the biggest school district in Murray, Calloway has risen its academics to match those of the Murray school district. Calloway offers many activities including Future Farmers of America, Technology Students of America, Drama Club, Choir, Band (2-time State AAAA runner-up) and much more. Calloway holds two athletic team state championships including Fast Pitch Softball in 2004 and Track & Field. Rachel Adams added her name to the history books in 2008 by being the state high jump champion for 3 years in a row. Calloway County also has a history of successful Speech Teams, including dozens of state championships. The most famous Alumni of Calloway County's speech team is W. Earl Brown.
