"362" is a webcomic written and illustrated by Joe Myers. It follows the lives of six college students, and often references popular video games.

"362" is a relatively new webcomic. The concept was born in 2007, and was originally drawn on paper. On August 4th, 2008 the comic made its debut on the internet, posted on the website http://deviantart.com. Shortly thereafter, the official site launched at www.362comic.com. It is accompanied by blogs posted by the author, and other various cast members.

Overview

The comic features caricatures of Myers and his college cohorts. The strip follows the lives of the two main characters, Chance and Joe, and their other friends in the dorm room number 362. Although most strips take place in the dorm, some have ventured outside it to the college campus beyond.

While the characters resemble their real-life alter egos, they tend to be more exaggerated versions, both in illustration and personality. Many of the gags can be described as "inside jokes," and are typically explained in the attached news blogs. Video Games are often times the subject matter of the comic, whether poking fun at them, or at the characters as they play them.

Attributes of the Comic

As a documentation of the characters life as college students, the strip does tend to have a followable plot-line, and oftentimes consecutive strips will form a story arc. Some jokes are also recycled from strip to strip (such as Bobby being attacked by Lamarr, or Grant being a chronic womanizer).

The comic has also been noted to occasionally break the fourth wall, and show the illustrator at work (although the illustrator is also a caricature of Myers, and not meant to be the real world).

Protagonists
