This is a list of episodes of the Japanese animated television series "To Aru Majutsu no Index" produced by the animation studio J.C.Staff.citeweb|url=http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=10044|title=To Aru Majutsu no Index (TV)|publisher=Anime News Network|accessdate=2008-10-05] The episodes are directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori, written by Masanao Akaboshi, and features character designs by Yuichi Tanaka whose designs were based on Kiyotaka Haimura's original concept. The anime is based on the light novel "To Aru Majutsu no Index" written by Kazuma Kamachi, and follows the life of Tōma Kamijō, a psychic high school student who resides in a scientifically advanced city in which magic also exists, and his interactions with other psychic and magic users after he meets Index, a young nun whose mind has been implanted with the 103,000 magical texts of the Index Librorum Prohibitorum.

The episodes began airing on October 4, 2008 on the Mainichi Broadcasting System Japanese television network. Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes; one opening theme and one ending theme. The opening theme is "PSI-Missing", and was performed by Mami Kawada. The ending theme is Nihongo|"Rimless: Fuchinashi no Sekai"|Rimless 〜フチナシノセカイ〜, and was performed by Iku.
