Richard Fernandes

Richard A. Fernandes (b. 1964) is an American television director and producer.

Fernandes has been nominated for seven Daytime Emmy awards in the categories Outstanding Single Camera Editing, Outstanding Achievement in Single Camera Editing, Outstanding Pre-School Children's Series, and Outstanding Directing in a Children's Series, for his work on "Reading Rainbow", "Bear in the Big Blue House", "Between the Lions", "Out of the Box", and "Blue's Room". He was nominated from 1997 to 2008, and won once in 2000. His win was shared with Mitchell Kriegman and Dean Gordon.
