SMRT Buses Service 67

SMRT Buses Service 67 is a bus service operated by SMRT Buses in Singapore. It goes from Tampines Bus Interchange to Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange. Until 1999, it was operated by SBS Transit.

History

Service 67 was introduced in 1993 through the same route. It duplicated via route 23 to Rochor Canal Road, then via the same route again to Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange.

In the same year, it later merged with route 4 from Tampines Bus Interchange to St Michael's Bus Terminal, and replaced by routes 21 and 67. Then, the route was amended to ply Tampines Avenue 5, Tampines Avenue 1, Bedok Reservoir Road, Bedok North Avenue 3, New Upper Changi Road, Changi Road, Geylang Road, Kallang Road and Lavender Street before plying Jalan Besar, instead of serving the Pan Island Expressway, Bendemeer Road and Jalan Besar. Also, on eastbound, it was amended via Lavender Street, Kallang Road, Sims Avenue, Sims Avenue East, New Upper Changi Road, Bedok Reservoir Road, Tampines Avenue 1 and Tampines Avenue 5 instead of serving Serangoon Road and Pan Island Expressway. It handed over to SMRT Buses on 26 December 1999, along with routes 172, 175 and 188. It also have shortworking trips, numbered 67A, 67C and 67W.

Service 67 gained Mercedes-Benz OC500LE since October 2008.
