Gliadel implants is a new way of giving giving a chemotherapy drug called carmustine to people with Brain Tumour. They are arsmall biodegradable discs containing the anti cancer drug .Gliadel implants are placed during a surgery called a craniotomy.The implants dissolves, the drug is released and it treats Tumour cells that could not be removed by surgery.As it dissolves within weeks it need not be removed.are small biodegradable discs containing the anti cancer drug
