Farington is a small village to the immediate north of Leyland, Lancashire, England. Farington is a rural community, although signs of farming are on the decrease as the area becomes more of a commuting base for workers using the nearby motorways.

The relationship between Farington and Leyland has always been strong but Farington is not part of Leyland.
