Bible and Spade

"Bible and Spade" is a quarterly archaeological-themed journal published by the Associates for Bible Research. Written from an inerrantist-Christian Bible scholarship viewpoint, the journal is meant for consumption by the public-at-large.

The Association is explicitly committed to the use of archaeology to demonstrate the historical veracity of the Old and New Testaments. Topics commonly covered include: Old and New Testament archaeology, current excavations, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Bible customs, current events and topics related to archaeology, Bible geography, early church history and archaeology, Creation/evolution issues, and book reviews.
