Diana Lucas (born December 6 1986, at Alenquer, near Lisbon, Portugal) is a Portuguese singer and actress.

Biography

Early years

She was first noticed at the age of 8, for her participation in the show "Bravo Bravissimo" in Portugal, she repesented her country in the european final. In 1995, she recorded her first studio album called "Um Cantinho do Céu", an album influenced by traditional portuguese music oriented for kids.

Idolos

In 2004 Diana auditioned for the second season of "Idolos" (the Portuguese version of "Pop Idol (British original version)"). She made it to the top 30 singing a Sara Tavares song called "Longe do Mundo". Altough the 16 year old didn't make to the top 10.

Post-Idolos

Even if she didn't make to the top 30 in Idolos, Diana got the atention of Farol an editor that gave her the opportunity to record her second album.

Diana

In 2006, Diana released her second studio album, called Diana. It was produced by Gutto and Boss AC some of the most known MCs in Portugal.

High School Musical

In 2008 Diana was selected to play in the portuguese version of High School Musical. It was a musical theatre inspired by the american movie. She played the role of Kelsi and sometimes of Gabriella.

Pontas Soltas

2008 was also the year that she released her second studio album entitled "Pontas Soltas".
