  • Pearl Mullet, Chalcalburnus tarichi, a species of ray-finned fish in the Cyprinidae family native to Turkey, where it is the only fish known to inhabit Lake Van
  • Malagasy Mountain Mullet, Acentrogobius therezieni, a species of fish in the Gobiidae family endemic to Madagascar
  • Shorthead Redhorse, Moxostoma macrolepidotum, a freshwater fish of North America
