Drew Lilley was born February 16th 1971. After the studies French and German and a postgraduate degree in Translation and Interpreting,
Drew worked for Eurosport, Sportal and ISMM Interactive/FIFA Marketing.
Back in 2006, a translation agency needed a translator from French into English for the official Roland Garros website.
As Drew worked as a sports journalist for various websites, before he decided to go freelance and concentrate mainly on translation,
he had worked with a lot of the people at the French Tennis Federation already, and he saw his opportunity.
The 'As it happens' blog soon become larger and larger and has since developed a big fan base!
At this point Drew decided to create a Facebook Group to accommodate his fans between Roland Garros and Wimbledon, where he also has an 'As it happens'-blog!
Since the creation this facebook group gained 191 members and there are a few die hards who keep it going even between the Grand Slams!Common Expressions Used During Blogging
