This is a new type of CCNA Cisco Career Certifications that has a concentration in Voice technologies.(As of November 2007 CCNA was broken into 4 distinct concentrations) The Cisco CCNA Voice certification is the credential given to validate the skill set needed for voice networks and technologies. Candiates are exposed to the Cisco Unified Communications architecture and are tested on Cisco Unified Communications design principals. A firm understanding of VoIP technologies such as IP PBX, IP telephony, handset, call control, and voicemail solutions are required to pass the CCNA Voice Exam know as 640-460 IIUC. CCNA Voice Training included 60 hours of instruction.
