Pressure=The season started early with a hurricane forming in the western Caribbean Sea on June 10. The storm moved northeastward, bringing rain and winds to Jamaica and Cuba before dissipating on the 14th. The storm is believed to have killed 87 people on Cuba. Pressure=After a three month lull, a tropical storm formed east of the Lesser Antilles on September 8, headed northwestward, and eventually hit near the North Carolina/South Carolina border as a Category 1 hurricane on September 14. It caused around $1 million in damage.

Pressure=October saw three storms, the first of which formed south-southeast of Jamaica on October 12. It hit the Sancti Spíritus Province in Cuba as a Category 1 hurricane, and later hit near Homestead, Florida. After looping around the state, the storm dissipated over the Bahamas on October 21.
