Charles Thomas Abraham

The Rt Rev Charles Thomas Abraham was the second Bishop of Derby from 1909 [New Suffragan Bishops The Times Monday, Sep 13, 1909; pg. 10; Issue 39063; col F] until 1927. Born in 1857 he was educated at Keble College, Oxford [ [http://www.green.gen.name/furse/D1.htm Family tree] ] . Ordained in 1881 he began his career with a curacy at St Mary’s Shrewsbury [ [http://www.stchadschurchshrewsbury.com/stmarys.html Church details] ] and was subsequently Vicar of All Saints, Shrewsbury then Christ Church, Lichfield before succeeding Bishop Were as the Southwell Suffragan.
