Everett McIver (born August 5, 1970 in Cumberland, North Carolina) is a former American football offensive guard in the National Football League. He was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 1994. He played college football at Elizabeth City State.

McIver also played for the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys.

Michael Irvin incident

In 1998 Michael Irvin allegedly inflicted a two-inch cut in the neck of McIver while some team members were getting haircuts. Whether it was battery or accidental he did not press charges, and rumors swirled that Irvin brokered a six-figure settlement with McIver to drop the matter.
