Ards and North Down District Council is a proposed Northern Irish local government district. Under the latest decision by the Review of Public Administration the district would be created by merging Ards Borough Council and North Down Borough Council. , though a small area of the Knocknagoney area of North Down District would be transferred to Belfast City Council.
The new district would cover the Ards Peninsula and the southern shore of Belfast Lough.
