The World Indoor Cricket Federation is the international body that governs the sport of indoor cricket throughout the world. The WICF is responsible for the orginisation of all international competitions and tournaments, including the Indoor Cricket World Cup. All domestic indoor cricket bodies report to the WICF.
Governance
The WICF headquarters are located in Sydny, Australia. From this location, all interntiaonal fixtures and competitions are organised and scheduled. THe WICF oversaw the 1980's governcance saga in Australia, in which the Indoor Cricket Federation and Indoor Cricket Australia contested for head of the sport In Australia. As well as this, the WICF has permitted the overtake on Indoor Cricket Australia by Cricket Australia, a change expected to take place early 2009.
