The 93d Air Refueling Squadron (93 ARS) is part of the 92d Air Refueling Wing at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. It operates the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft conducting aerial refueling missions.

Mission

History

The squadron flew combat missions in the China Burma India Theater from, 26 January 1943–10 June 1944 and 19 October 1944–3 July 1945, transported gasoline to forward bases in China between, 20 June and 30 September 1944, and dropped propaganda leaflets over Thailand between June and September 1945. It has conducted air refueling missions since, October 1951. Portions of the squadron deployed in support of operations in Southwest Asia from, 2 September 1990–10 March 1991.
