Little Fat Pig

Litte Fat Pig (小肥豬) is a Hong Kong based Cantonese independent pop-rock band formed in Dec, 2004. Members are Melon on Vocal, Metal on Lead Guitar, Kwok on Rythmn Guitar, SevenSixTwo on Bass and ReD on Drums. Their music is a combination of various styles including pop, rock and pop-punk with a comparatively sweet melody line. Their songs are written and performed in Cantonese.

Their debut album "Pork Rock" was released in Dec, 2007.

History

In 2002, prior to the band's official formation, band leader SevenSixTwo was asked to compose a theme song for UMOVIE, a Hong Kong film organization. As a key member of UMOVIE, SevenSixTwo brought both Melon and Kwok, also members of UMOVIE, to their first jamming session inside a shoe shop with no proper musical instrument.

With many musicians trying out and leaving, the band finally settled in Dec, 2004 with the official lineup and band name.

The band took part at the Rockit Hong Kong Music Festival (2005 & 2006), Kenting's Spring Scream Music Festival (2006,2007 & 2008) and various local gigs [Underground review, http://www.undergroundhk.com/v2/?page_id=264] .

In Dec 2007, the band released their debut Album "Pork Rock".
