Mucous Scrotum is a Israeli Black Metal one-man project formed in 2004 by Ratimus (Ofer Koren).

History

"Mucous Scrotum" began its way in early 2004 as a one man project of Ratimus - bass player of black metal band "Bartholomeus Night", and owner of New Class Studios - a professional music studio which specifies in black metal productions. The main concept behind the project is sticking to the foundations of black metal and breaking basic values of modern society, using mostly satanic philosophy. In 2004 the first demo of M.S was recorded, a demo which included 4 songs and was later archived after severe technical issues in the studio computer. All was lost but one song, named "Ode in honour of thee", and the demo was never re-recorded. In 2005 M.S joined forces with another black metal project named "Infernal Nature". Together they recorded a split CD, "Calls From The Underground" Which included 6 Songs by M.S (including the remained song from the demo) and 8 tracks by Infernal Nature. The split was printed not before 2006, and self distributed in 1,000 copies. In 2007 the first LP, "Hall of the Slain" was recorded. The music and concept haven't change dramatically, but M.S defiantly got a unique, more colorful and aggressive sound. The LP is about to be printed during 2008. As for today, new materials are being collected for the second LP - which is about to be recorded during the upcoming summer.
