Chaos (culfest)

Chaos 2009
Chaos is the inter-institute cultural event of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Conceptualized in 1996, it is now rated among the topmost college festivals in India; the USP of this cultural festival is non-stop ‘entiretainment’. Usually conducted mid-Feb., It gives people the chance to indulge in a wild and wacky weekend of revelry. Drawing large crowds from all over the country, this fest has something in store for everyone.

There are a gamut of cultural events, ranging from the choreographed dances and fashion parades to debates, quizzes, rock competitions, and plays. A number of workshops are conducted and offer the opportunity to learn something new, like rock-climbing or pottery.

Pop, rock and classical music concerts create an electric atmosphere and give people the chance to let their hair down.

In Februaryt 2008, IIM Ahmedabad painted the cultural circles red with the biggest celebrations among all B-schools, an event witnessed not only by students of management, engineering, arts, commerce, design and science in Ahmedabad, but also by the entire Western India region. Chaos is had the works– teenagers, head banging to the riveting music of rock bands to Connoisseurs who come down to quench their thirst for classical music.
