According to the lyrics the most believed meaning of the song is about the band's frontman Tyson Ritter ranting to his ex-girlfriend Lindy about how famous he is and how she "has nothing" and also how he doesn't seem to care about her anymore, which would be ignoring the message of "Time Stands Still".
