Sachkhand Express

Sachkhand Express is operated by Indian Railways on Daily basis between Indian Cities of Nanded of Maharashtra to Amritsar of Punjab. This train is one of the important trains as it links the two famous Sikh Shrines. The train is named after Sachkhand Sahib Gurudwara situated in Nanded.

This train also links the National Capital of India,New Delhi to Nanded, Jalna and Aurangabad of Marathwada Region of Maharashtra.

It routes and halts at Purna,Parbhani,Jalna,Aurangabad,Manmad,Bhusaval,Burhanpur,Khandwa,Itarsi,Bhopal,Jhansi,Gwalior,Dholpur,Agra,Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi,Ambala,Rajpura,Jalandhar and Beas.

The trian hals at the same station on its reverse itenary.

It was introduced in the year 1995 as a weekly Express train between Nanded and Amritsar with typical numbering of

7616 Amritsar Nanded Express

The train was made biweekly and upgraded to its present Super Fast Status in the year 1997 followed by Five days a week in 1998. In the year 2006-2007 the train was decleared to be daily operational.
