"Somebody New" is the second single released from country music singer, Billy Ray Cyrus from his platinum-selling sophomore album, "It Won't Be the Last". Released in 1993, the song was the follow-up to "In the Heart of a Woman". "Somebody New" reached a peak of #9 on the "Billboard" Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs chart), and #4 on the U.S. Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. It also gained play in Canada, where it reached #14.

A music video was made also made for the song.

In 2008, country singer Jill King released a cover of this song. King's cover did not chart, however.
