Pulido is a graduate of
New York University ’sTisch School of the Arts Motion Picture and Television Department. He is also a member of the board of directors forA Commitment to Our Roots (orACTOR ), a non-profit foundation formed to aid retired members of the comic book community in financial need.Comic book career

Chaos! Comics , Pulido was a leadingindependent comic publisher of the1990 s, achieving over thirty million dollars in sales in eight languages, until the company went bankrupt. As creative director, Pulido won twelve international printing awards and oversaw over 500 licensed items including posters, prints, sculptures, action figures, apparel, trading cards and drinkware.In 1999, he received the
Comic Book Legal Defense Fund ’s Defender of Liberty Award for his fundraising efforts.Film career
On the motion picture front, Pulido created, produced and wrote the story for
ADV Films ’ animated feature, "Lady Death". He wrote, produced and directed the award winning shorthorror film , "There’s Something Out There ", which has played at numerous film festivals. He is currently writing "Gone", a feature length screenplay with "New York Times " best-selling authorMichael A. Stackpole .In 2005, Pulido co-founded
International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival and is its director.Pulido is back in production as writer and director of "The Graves", with a scheduled release date of October 13, 2008.
