Mohanakrishnan kaladi is one of the renowned Malayalam poets of the new age. His poems are collected in two books- "PALISE" and "MAZHAPPOTTAN" (DC BOOKS, KOTTAYAM).
PALISE has won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi KANAKASHREE award for poetry in the year 2006.He has also won Vailoppilli-Shreerekha award, K.B.Menon memorial award and Atlas-kairali award for poetry. =
