Many Peruvian Spaniards ancestors arrived in Spain in from the 1990s, and live mainly in Spain's biggest cities. Many Peruvians bring their whole families over. The younger generation, even though they look Peruvian, especially if they are Afro Peruvian, mestizo, or Amerindian, speak Castilian Spanish with a Madrid accent just as an ethnic Spaniard. They may also regard themselves as just Spanish.
