- Vratislav Mazák
RNDr. Vratislav Mazák (
June 22 1937 ,Kutná Hora -September 9 1987 ,Praha ) was a Czechbiologist . He specialised inpaleoanthropology ,mammalogy andtaxonomy , and he was also a painter, often illustrating his books about animals and men. He was a professor at theCharles University 's Faculty of Science [ [http://abart.artarchiv.cz/osoby.php?Fvazba=studium&IDosoby=8532 Charles University] ] and also worked as a zoologist at the Prague National Museum. Along with Dr. Groves, Dr. Mazák was the of "Homo ergaster ". He also described thetiger subspecies "Panthera tigris corbetti".Major publications
