Fiona Kennedy is a Scottish singer, actress and broadcaster, and the daughter of Scottish and Gaelic singers
Calum Kennedy and Anne Gillies. As a child she appeared with her parents as they performed as a family, and this developed into successful solo career.At the same time she moved on to other areas of entertainment, including film and theatre acting and tv and radio broadcasting.
Her tv appearances include the 1971 series The Witch's Daughter,
Sutherland's Law and Mauro the Gypsy, four series ofRecord Breakers onBBC1 , the New Year Show with Sir Trevor MacDonald, she also presented Behind the Scenes atMonarch of the Glen . Fiona has also appeared on BBC tv'sSongs of Praise as a singer.She had a role in the 1973 film The Wicker Man where she played Holly.
Fiona Kennedy now presents television programmes about Scotland, Scottish life and history for American and Canadian consumption.
