Central 1 Credit Union

Central 1 Credit Union is a Vancouver, British Columbia-based, member-owned financial institution. It was formed in 2008 by the merger of Credit Union Central of British Columbia and the Credit Union Central of Ontario.

Central 1 has offices in Vancouver and Mississauga, ON, providing services to member credit unions in British Columbia and Ontario. Its mission is to create a national central serving all credit unions across Canada.

With more than $7.5 billion in assets, Central 1 provides liquidity management,payments, Internet and trade association services to 196 member credit unions in B.C.and Ontario, having a combined membership of 2.8 million, while also servingcorporate customers with financial and transaction services.

Don Rolfe is president and CEO and Daniel A. Burns is chair of the board.
