Lewis Grant Silver (born
1953 ), is a retired American-Israel ibasketball player. He played in at both forward positions (height 2.00m).He played collegiality for
Harvard University and was selected by theKentucky Colonels in the 8th round (73rd overall) of the1975 ABA Draft . Silver won 10 Israeli Championships (1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985) and 8 Israeli State Cups (1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985). Playing for Maccabi he also won 2 European champions cup titles (1977 and 1981) and was a 2 time champions cup finalist (1980, 1982). He also won the Intercontinental cup in 1981.
Playing for the Israeli national team he won the silver medal at
Eurobasket 1979 and the 6th place atEurobasket 1981 .References
