Thurtene Honorary

Thurtene Honorary founded, in 1904, is a semi-secret co-ed student group at Washington University in St. Louis in charge of coordinating and running Thurtene Carnival, which is the oldest and largest student run carnival in the country. The Honorary selects 13 new members each year through an application process. All new members in Thurtene Honorary are in their Junior year of study. In the past they have been subject to some controversy relating to their finances.
