- Universeum
Universeum is a public science centre in
Gothenburg ,Sweden that opened in 2001. It is a part of "Evenemangsstråket", the "thoroughfare of events" – close toKorsvägen and Skånegatan – which includes sights of interest likeScandinavium ,Ullevi ,Svenska Mässan (Swedish Exhibition Centre),Liseberg and theMuseum of World Culture .The Universeum is divided into six sections, each containing experiment workshops and a collection of
reptile s,fish andinsect s. The Universeum occasionally gives Swedish secondary school students a chance to debate withNobel prize -winners and professors.The sections of Universeum are:
* "Kalejdo" - An exhibit about the human body, atoms, space, and more.
* "Explora" - About communication and robots.
* "Vattnets väg" (The path of the water) - The Swedish fishes and reptiles.
* "Akvariehallen" (The aquariaroom) - Marine animals.
* "Regnskogen" (The rainforest) - Tropical animals in their natural environment.
* "Galleriet" (The gallery) - Temporarily exhibits about how things work.The architect behind Universeum is
