Kongthin Pearlmich is said to be a British artist of
East Asia n descent, and—according to his spokesman—although one of the world's most expensive artists, is relatively unknown due to his reclusive nature. triptych entitled "The Man Delusion", depicting thecrucifixion , was sold for $125 million (£69.7 million) to an American buyer: its name is a reference toRichard Dawkins ' "The God Delusion " and it is made up of three carvings ofChrist created frommarble ,pearl s, rubies, anddiamond s in front of painted backgrounds.
