Titawi is a village in
Muzaffarnagar within theMuzaffarnagar district ofUttar Pradesh ,India . As of 2006, it has a population of approximately 8,000 within 1,000 households. It is some 14 km from the district headquarters.The history of Titawi traces back some 300 years when a farmer named Latha established his hut on the bank of the river Hindon. Many of the families that now live in Titawi bear the surname of Lathiyan.
