Trio was a country music group that featured Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. The three were signed to Warner Bros. Records for their first album, and switched to Asylum Records where they recorded and released in second studio. Their first album, which was self-titled, reached #1 on the U.S. "Billboard" Top Country Albums chart, and was certified Platinum. It also featured a #1 single, "To Know Him Is to Love Him". The trio's second album, however, was less successful as the first. This album, "Trio II", was released in 1999 [ [http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/1096196/a/Trio+II.htm "Trio II" album review] ] , over 10 years since their first. It debuted at #4 on the country chart, and although the only single release from it failed to chart, the album earned a gold certification.
