CQU Engineering Mackay is a campus of the
CQUniversity atMackay, Queensland , Australia. The Mackay Campus Engineering faculty specialise in Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical disciplines.The state-wide university has a larger than average percentage of international lecturers, allowing for diverse backgrounds for experiences and teaching of students. Hence the total number of students in this particular cohort equates to 13 students.
History
* 5 March, 2007 - The class first met during orientation week.
* 10 March, 2007 - The class had its first team building exercise, resulting in strong bonds, and the Mackay egg-launching team leaving Rockhampton with the regional winner prize.
* 13 March, 2007 - The class held its first official lecture, where our project building inventory items were expanded to include straws (pipes), paddle-pop sticks (beams), staples (rivets), and balsa wood (sheet metal).
* 5 June, 2007 - Completion of first Portfolio resulted in several all-nighters, along with many course dropouts.References
