Swift Aircraft Limited is a new British Aircraft Company, incorported in 2004 [http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/] , with the initial goal of designing and manufacturing, by state of the art techniques, an economical single engine, certified, two seat side by side, composite, aerobatic trainer and touring aircraft for the General Aviation market.

Present day

The company currently employs 15 people. The engineering office is based in Edinburgh whilst the manufacturing facility is based in Kirkbymoorside, Yorkshire. The first aircraft is due to fly in July 2009.
