Chris Woolard was appointed Head of the Trust Unit in July 2008. Previously he was Head of Finance and Strategy at the Trust Unit, advising the BBC Trustees on finance, value for money and the operation of Public Value Tests. His new role includes responsbility for the BBC's audience research and editorial matters.
He was responsible for the BBC's excellent submission to the Ofcom review of Public Service Broadcasting.
