Esposito started playing professional football in 1985 with
FC Lucerne . In 1988, he signed forFC Basel . In August 1989, he signed forAC Bellinzona where he played for five years. He then signed forSC Kriens in 1994 before joiningFC Aarau in 1998.Zug 94 aquired his services in 2000 and he retired in 2002.
