AMR Research, Inc. is an expert in the global supply chain. They are an independent research firm based in Boston serving most of the Fortune Global 500 manufacturers and retailers with published research and personalized advice on best practices in things like production operations, logistics, global sourcing and new product introduction. They also research and advise on major supply chain technologies including SAP AG, Oracle Corporation and other Enterprise resource planning applications, plus specialty software markets, and the consulting firms that help install them. They publish an annual ranking of the world’s top supply chains called the Supply Chain Top 25. The company was founded in 1986 and co-wrote the original SCOR model in 1996. AMR originally stood for “Advanced Manufacturing Research”.
