Manyame

Manyame

Manyame is a constituency of Mashonaland West in Zimbabwe. It is about 40 km from Harare. Manyame also is the name of a river.

At the 2005 general election the candidate of the Zanu PF was declared the winner. This was in contrast to the fact that the candidate of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) polled an overall majority.[citation needed]
