Uga VII is expected to replace Uga VI for the team's highly anticipated 2008 season, however officials have questioned the new mascot's readiness to assume the position.cite web | url=http://www.macon.com/149/story/390519.html | last = Kendall| first = Josh| title=Georgia's Uga VI dies | accessdate=2008-06-28| date=
